Abstract

The article presents a comprehensive set of current issues in the management and preservation of Armenia’s 20th-century architectural heritage. It analyzes the specific features of valuing architectural structures from this period, the effectiveness of legal and administrative mechanisms, as well as the role of professional and public perception in the heritage preservation process. The threats arising from rapid urban development, economic factors, and the imperfections of the regulatory and legal framework are discussed. The article emphasizes the need for interdisciplinary approaches, the application of international experience, and the development of comprehensive strategies to ensure the preservation and sustainable management of 20th-century architectural heritage.
