The Essence of the Developed Method of Creating a Basis of Recognition Points of Space Maps and its Implementation in Production

High-resolution space images are presented for the annual update of a number of topographic maps of the state scale of the Republic of Armenia using the methodology developed by Geocosmos CJSC for creating a plan-altitude basis for identification points and an approximate format for compiling observation data for identification points for 2024. Spatial 3D coordinates of 951 identification points from the work on creating a planimetric basis for 1,500 identification points, envisaged by the technical project "Provision of the needs of state administration bodies of the Republic of Armenia with Earth remote sensing data, orthophoto plans and updating topographic maps of territories". state scale series of the Republic of Armenia". The work on monitoring the identification points was carried out in the following sequence: Before leaving for the site, an observation route was drawn up in such a way that it was the most optimal option for approaching the point of identification points by car in order to avoid additional driving, then the planned coordinates of the design identification points were uploaded to the Google My Map environment, using the data of which the navigation system makes it possible to drive up to the observed point, then, observation of the identification points was carried out in RTK mode, determining the coordinates in 3D format with an accuracy of 10 cm. After the observations, photographs were taken from a distance of about two meters using a smartphone rover station. The location of the antenna (antenna) and the direction of the most recognizable part of the terrain. The observation data of the identification points, the compiled outlines and descriptions are sent via the Internet at the end of the working day to the Photogrammetric Department of phototriangulation works. As a result of the method, employees have the opportunity to know the measured images online, the number of missed points and the possibility of easy planning and management of further work provided for the technical project which is created. The advantage of the method over traditional methods is that the coordinates of the identification points are obtained automatically in digital form, which excludes gross errors caused by the human factor, and the degree of accuracy is several times greater.
