Abstract

The article presents an analysis of transport flows based on the study of physical, systemic and stochastic characteristics of the transport system. The indicators characterizing the level of traffic congestion at controlled intersections were assessed: the degree of saturation and the chaotic nature of queue formation. It is revealed that the importance of the components of the delay changes due to the increase in the degree of saturation. Fourier analysis was used to identify the structure of intensity fluctuations and their characteristics.
