Abstract

The article substantiates the recommendation to improve the organization of traffic at the intersections of the Yerevan road network through the use of video recording equipment that records violations. It is proposed to develop a new additional combined system based on the existing base and use it for the purposes of organizing and managing traffic. The operating system monitors traffic at intersections in real time. The purpose of the proposal is, if necessary, for the remote monitoring operator to take measures to solve emerging problems. The introduction of such a system will allow, to a certain extent, to manage traffic flows, reduce vehicle delays, reduce the likelihood of traffic jams, increase the average speed of traffic flows, and also improve the environmental safety of traffic and the environment without large capital investments.
