Abstract

This article provides a historical overview and analysis of the architectural features of Armenian fortress construction and their international parallels, all within the context of military resistance. The research encompasses various aspects, including the organization of the spatial environment within castles, site selection, and the structural elements. It also considers the correlation between these architectural choices and the evolution of relevant military technologies throughout different historical periods.Through an analysis of historical precedents, key points of military resistance are identified and presented in a tabular format. Furthermore, the article explores the potential integration of these historical methods with modern military technologies and approaches.
