Cyclic phenomena occurring in the welds of the main pipelines of the gas transmission system are considered, which after a certain period of operation can cause fatigue failure of the seams and discontinue normal gas supply. In order to prevent these phenomena, a technology has been proposed to increase the bearing capacity of welds, which is performed by means of a reinforcing roller device, which is operating in a circular run-in. An anti-corrosion coating is also applied by means of a mechanism mounted in the device. In this paper, by analyzing the results of previous studies and on the basis of significant measurements of microhardnesses in the sublayers of plastically hardened welds, the indicators of the acting factors are evaluated and functional relationships are formulated, which are multiparametric in nature. In summary, it is possible to evaluate the complex impact of the studied materials and phenomena in order to obtain optimal values of their indicators.
