Abstract

The article touches upon the formulas for calculating the capacities of different controlled intersections in their entirety, due to which it will be possible to calculate the capacities of any controlled intersection in case of different control cycles, different geometrical parameters of the intersection, and different traffic schemes. By calculating the capacity of any controlled intersection using the obtained formulas, it will be possible to predict the limits of traffic congestion situations and carry out practical measures in conditions of increased traffic flow.
