Abstract

Due to the high energy consumption of harvesting and high labor costs, the cultivation of root crops is decreasing year by year, and what is left is cultivated mainly in light sandy-clay soils. Therefore, the problem of cultivation of root crops with minimal labor and energy costs in heavy soils has important scientific and practical significance, the solution of which will expand the cultivation of important root crops. Equations for determining the velocities and accelerations of the points of the disk interacting with the soil were obtained by theoretical research, the application of which will allow to optimize the parameters of the disk cutting organs of the proposed root-fruit harvesting machine.
