Abstract

Recommendations are presented on a simpler method of changing the working fluid in the hydrodynamic leveling system (HLS), used to determine vertical deformations in engineering geodesy, for which it is not necessary to complicate the design of the sensors, but simply add a valve and a tap to one of the fittings of the balancing tank of the working fluid. However, to increase the accuracy of measurements in the conditions of vibrations of the working medium, a foam mesh on the surface of the liquid in the tubes of the sensors should be placed to dampen the waves of the liquid. As a result of the changes made, the measurement accuracy in the system will be improved by the proposed method, and in the event of a change in the working fluid, air bubbles will not enter the system.
