An energy analysis of the bulldozer wing's operation was conducted, which showed that tillage tools with a working surface having a guide curve with a constant radius have maximum resistance, while surfaces in the form of a logarithmic spiral have the minimum resistance to traction. It was proposed to design the part of the bulldozer wing buried in the ground, which is in a severe stress-strain state, in the form of a logarithmic spiral, and the above-ground part of the wing, located in the zone outside the stress-strain state of the soil during cutting-excavation, is designed in the form of an arc of a circle of constant radius. The equations of the guide curve in the form of a logarithmic spiral for the part of the bulldozer wing that enters the ground and the direction curve in the form of a circular arc for the aerial part of the wing were obtained through theoretical studies.
