The article studies the stress-strain state of the foundation ground of a high-rise building with a in-situ reinforced concrete frame in the case of modeling the building's structural system in different ways. The building and the ground were modeled with LIRA SAPR and PLAXIS 3D software packages, respectively. The PSI program allowed to implement soil-structure coupled analysis. Three different models were considered. In the first model, a foundation ground loaded with the weight of the building was placed on the ground. In the second model, a structural system that is affected by the load of the rest of the building up to the first floor was placed on the ground. In the third one, the complete structure was modeled on the ground. In order to find out the stress-strain state of the foundation ground, static calculations were carried out. The results allowed to perform a comparative analysis of foundation deformations and modulus of subgrade reaction. The study proposes recommendations on the selection of the method of calculation of ground sediments in real projects. The goal is to provide guidance for structural engineers when calculating foundation deformations.
