Abstract

The article presents the processes of restructuring the abandoned industrial areas of the city of Yerevan, based on environmental rating criteria. This approach is consistent with the concept of sustainable development, which takes into account all aspects: environmental, social and economic impacts throughout the entire restructuring cycle. The developed methodology makes it possible to comprehensively analyze the current environmental and economic situation of the abandoned industrial areas of the city of Yerevan in accordance with the current legal norms and standards. The applied calculation method makes it possible to obtain a new analytical formula, thanks to which the investor can estimate the expected and external costs. Based on the research, conclusions were drawn, according to which it will be possible to find effective solutions within the concept of "smart city" taking into account possible risks.
